Result: The King of Swords ! ... !
This card was the result of my usual method for finding answers to specific questions. I have two decks which I find word very well together and I shuffle while asking the question. I then turn both decks together, looking for matching cards in the same position of both decks.
My two decks have notes written on them, as I tend to do with many on my decks. The meanings change as I change, so they become a kind of diary of what was going through my mind at the time I was using the cards. Well, the King of swords (which would be a pretty good match for the question without any extra information) has the phrase "Seek to embrace your enemies" written on one of the decks and the other has "Hard truths".
All in all, I think that's a pretty good response. My instinct says that we will once again make our way to the top of the hill and march all the way back down again, where will then fudge some agreement that both sides can call a moral victory.
23rd February 2024 ... Topic: "How do you break down and analyse a 6 card pyramid spread ?".
So, I have about 3 spreads that I use regularly ... !
For so many years I just used the 3 card spread, drilling down into each card to eventually find answers. I have never really gone for all that 'Past, Present, future' stuff. I prefer to look at the three cards and find relationships and scenarios therein.
I also use a 12 card spread with 3 cards in the middle, which I use for looking at the months of the year. I find this to be a very useful spread for planning ahead.
But then I have the 6 card 'pyramid' spread, which I use for problem resolution ... and it works superbly.
So, if you look at the image below you will see the simple layout and the relationships between the cards and their inner zones. This works brilliantly for anyone who enjoys casting 3 card spreads, it's so similar in its practical analysis.
On the left of the spread is the 'Situation', which is a collaboration of the 'You' zone and the 'Concern' zone. On the right is the 'Resolution', which mingles the 'You' with the 'Help' zones, and at the base is the 'Future Path', a mix of 'Concern' and 'Help'. I read all 3 card sides individually, then consider the 4 card 'You' zone and the 3 card 'Concern' and 'Help' zones to see how their relationships marry or clash. It takes some getting used to, but I find the logic of the layout really aids the results.

6th February 2024 ... Topic: "What happens when you pray deeply for something ?".
I prayed for help in losing weight and getting healthy ... !
So, I had been planning to lose weight and get fit as soon as the new year (2024) began, but as tends to happen, as soon as the time came around my will-power was non-existent.
I was feeling ashamed of myself. How could I have got myself into such a mess ? Four or Five stone over-weight, eating poorly and hardly exercising at all ... and to top it all, unable to get myself back in order !
So I prayed. "Dear Lord, please grant me the strength to get my life in order, lose weight and get healthy". It sounds trite, but I needed God's help with this, nothing else would do.
A few days passed and I started to get a pain in my stomach, a horrendous drawing feeling radiating from my right side and spreading all over my stomach and back. I waited a few days to see if it would clear, to no avail. I began to turn yellow with jaundice and so the next stop was A&E, loads of tests and scans until they had the answer as to why I was so sickly ... God had answered my prayer and granted me a diseased bile duct, blocked with a trapped gallstone ! So, here I am a week or so later. No longer jaundiced, 2 stone lighter and on a low fat diet that I am really positive about because low-fat food doesn't cause me pain !
It's true what they say ... God works in mysterious ways ! Amen. 🤣
15th January 2024 ... 1 Card in response to the question: "What kind of person will win the upcoming USA Presidential Elections ?".
Result: THE KNIGHT OF COINS !
I just threw a single card asking "What sort of person will win the american election ?". The result was the Knight of Coins. No word of a lie, the notes on my card says A strong man of action and the warning says "Watch out for others your age" !!!
Would you say that the Knight is wearing a big floppy hat to avoid showing us a wind-blown sweep over ? 🤣
